Medunsa is one of the campus at Limpopo University. For practical reasons only a limited number of applicants can be admitted annually. All applications are submitted to a selection committee for the final selection of Students. Selection is made on academic merit.

Academic and other selection criteria differ from course to course, even though the basic matriculation requirements may be the same.

Admission requirements:  Applicants for the first year courses must be in possession of, or be about to receive, matriculation exemption certificate from the South African Matriculation Board with a symbol in mathematics and physical science of at least E on higher grade and C on standard grade.
